New family member...

Sorry it's been so long since I've updated my blog! Goodness! But i have a good excuse, at least for the last two days. :)

I got a puppy for my birthday!! Yay. She's wonderful. Thanks to the wonderful couple that runs www.seeourpuppies.org for breeding such a beautiful baby. She's awesome and her name is Lucy. She's a long-haired black & tan dapple doxie. And we love her!

Wish me luck as I try and train her! :)

I have two shoots on Friday - a great family sesh in the morning, and an engagement shoot in the evening ... the engagement shoot was supposed to be this last Friday but I had to cancel due to a migraine...grr. So I'm super anxious to do it! It's sure to be a fun shoot!

Until then, I'll be training Lucy!

Ouchida Family Radness!

I had the pleasure of spending some time with a GREAT family on Saturday in a really cool place - Boulder City. This family was so laid back and fun - and they had the cutest boys!

Jace (Hope I spelled that right!) is 5 and full of energy! And I found out we both have a love for R2D2. :) Cool. His lil' bro Cooper was such a sweetheart, and he really hung in there even though it was so cold outside! It was also so refreshing to be around a couple who still loves each other so very much and have just as much energy (or close to it) as their kids!

Thanks guys for letting me hang out with you! I hope you had as much fun as I did! Here a just a FEW of my favorites - it was so hard to pick!

Website is up and running! Woooot! :)

Yay! My site, www.somedayphotography.com, is up and running thanks to the guys at Blu Domain and my bestie Aimee at ee.lu design! I'm so excited - it has a contact section for shoot inquiries, a client proofing section, and is just what i was looking for.

There are some small tweaks to be made, but that's a given. You guys probably wouldn't even notice them! Haha. So yay, and cheers, to my new site!
