Budget Building Services Photo Sesh

This morning I did a photo sesh for the guys at Budget Building Services (my Father-in-Law's business in Denver, CO). It'll be for their new website - they do all kinds of things from pressure washing, to window cleaning, to parking lots...

I did some portraits for the two head guys - Kyle and Rick. It was so fun - they're a blast...so laid back and easy to work with. Definite top model potential! ;)

I'll do the portrait session for my Father-in-Law when I return to Vegas...I haven't gotten to all of the images yet, but I've posted some of my faves for the guys to get a fun lil' preview...

Enjoy!

Tomorrow ... the Denver Zoo!!! Yay!

Colorado Vacation - Part 1: Stanley Hotel

So for the first part of our Colorado vacation, we (myself, Chris, my sister-in-law Michelle, her husband Richard, our niece Rachael, and nephew Jacob) decided to stay a night at the Historic Stanley Hotel ... birthplace of Stephen King's The Shining and of the best of the best Taps/Ghost Hunters episodes.

It was a BLAST - we went on our own "ghost hunt" and toured the grounds at midnight ... after we went to our room for bed, however, things got STRANGE. I won't go into details, but let's just say that we left at 3:00 am instead of staying the rest of the night and I am now a pretty firm believer in some form of "ghosts." BUT, I wouldn't trade any of the experiences we had because it was GREAT - and if you want to know what exactly made us leave so soon, just ask. :)

Tomorrow I have a photoshoot in downtown Denver for my father-in-law's company. I'll post those as soon as they're done...until then, enjoy these few photos of our adventures at The Stanley Hotel.

Back from Vacation! - Part 3: Lazzzzyyy River!

Egad - THREE posts in one day?! :) Okay, so last post...the resort had an awesome lazy river, and combine that with my husband's intense childlike characteristics and squirt guns with all the cousins and siblings, you'll get some pretty good times. :)

Back from Vacation! - Part 2: S'mores!

So, we had my yearly family get together with the Murphy side at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort in San Antonio. Every night after dinner, they set up a S'more station for the kids (I have 4 cousins and my brother and sister - all under the ages of 12 ... so they loved it!) Here's some of the S'more action. :)

Back from Vacation!

So I'm back from part 1 of my vacation... sorry about the lack of blogging - internet usage at the resort was wildly expensive, and really slow! While on vacation, I did a mini photo sesh for my brother and sister. They are so freaking good looking! :)

Enjoy! I'll also post some vacation photos of my cousins from the resort. It was a great relaxing time, and tomorrow Chris and I leave for a week in Denver! Woot! :)

Enjoy!

Ahhh, Vacation ...

Well, day 2 of my vacation is coming to a close. We spent yesterday and today with my Aunt Linda and Uncle Bruce at their farm (Gilleland Farms) in Uvalde, Texas. Country, trees, blue blue skies, horses... It's been awesome to just chill out with some family and have no agenda except to relax, relax, and relax some more! Not to mention the amazing food we've already had - including my Aunt's homemade ice cream. Yummmmm. My cousin, Rader, and his wife Hollie came over today with their daughter Gracie - so cute! I got to have a good time taking some photos of them swimming and hanging out. :) Tomorrow we're off to the Hyatt Hill Country to hang with my other side of the family, so keep an eye out for some photos of that too! :)

Summer Fun

Chris and I went to see Beauty & the Beast the Musical at Super Summer Theatre with our cousin Rebekah and good friend Panda. It was a blast, but while waiting for the play to start we (of course) had to have some fun with the Point & Shoot Cam I brought. :) Ah, good times and summer fun...

Pool Days

As I mentioned before, I got to spend an entire day at two different pools. It was a nice change of pace and reminded me how much I love summertime, even if I don't love swimming suits! :)

So, here are a few photos from my pool day - good times at Katie's brother's pool (with our mascot for the day - an awesome Chihuahua named Buster), and then off to my parent's house to hang with the kids. The photo I've included is of my little sister, Brooke, and her friend Canaan. Thought it was adorable! :)

Happy summer days all!

Lovin' the summer weather!

I haven't blogged in a few days, because I didn't have any photos to post. But who needs photos to post??! Well, actually, I feel like I do but I have the wrong computer with me at the house today, so I'll be posting some photos tomorrow! Yesterday was a rare occassion when I got to hang with friends and family all in one day! Chris and I went to a super fun pool party with our Small Group (an amazing group of people that's gotten the both of us through some pretty rough stuff)...it was a blast! And I learned a new love of the card game BullSh** and Pineapple Juice with Malibu Rum... Then, Chris and I went to my parental's home and watch my bro and sis and their friend Canaan while the "grown ups" went to Yardhouse...what did we do? Crazy fun pool time part two! :) Anywho, I'll be uploading some fun photos from the day asap. Keep an eye out ...

America's Next Top Model Wannabe...

So, one of the photographer's who rocked out my wedding (Trish from Studio ATG) just sent me an ad from our totally awesome after-wedding shoot that they're using for an ad. Can I say - sweeeet?! It's so fun - and they're right on the money: it is the most fun you can have with the lights on!! :) Thanks Trish and Jared for not only capturing our wedding day in such a crazy, cool way - but for continuing to use the photos...making us feel like rock stars. Definitely looking forward to a little one year anniversary portrait session sexiness... Check out Trish and Jared's blog under the "Blogs I Stalk" section -----> :)

Smith Family Outing

I was cleaning up my external hard drive and came across the photoshoot I did about a month and a half ago with some family friends. The Smith's are an adorable family, and I had a blast hanging out with them at Town Square. Brayden, Spencer, and Preston are so cute and outgoing - and silly! So it only fit that we all hung out on the playground for an hour or two and goofed around! :)
